“It's gotta be a good sign for your party, I believe, that you're campaigning in New England in late September,” George Stephanopoulos told Speaker John Boehner in an interview for ABC This Week in Portland, Maine.
“I think the path to a bigger and more sustainable Republican majority has to go through the Northeast, and that’s why I’m here,” Mr. Boehner said in an interview with First Draft. “You can’t be a national political party if you don’t play ball everywhere in the country.”
This week’s Republican address is about a campaign to make Washington work again for families and small businesses in places like rural Arizona. “I’m running for Congress for a simple reason: our state is under attack from the federal government,” AZ-01 challenger Andy Tobin says. “We need to put the people first, be their voice.”
